Facilities
Morse Road Location:
-Our smaller classroom is carpeted and will hold 15-20 people. The large classroom has window frontage, is carpeted, and can seat around 50 people.
-Folding chairs are provided
-If you need a table or other equipment, please let us know in advance.
-We do not have video equipment or tape recorders. We do have a CD player for use.
Promotion
-Promotion of your event will be in our bi-monthly newsletter
-We will post a sign 1 week before your event promoting your event.
-Please call us prior to your event if you wish to receive attendance information.
-For local presenters, we discourage the canceling of any event. For presenters that are further than 90 minutes away, we ask that you be willing to hold class with pre-registered attendance of 10 people or more.
Classes, Workshops, Presentations
-You will receive 70% of the fees collected based upon the pre-registration price.
-Love offerings or donations are also subject to the same rate with 30% going to Gentle Wind.
-We have scheduled payment days. Please check with Gentle Wind to find out the payment information for your class. You will be asked to submit an invoice after your class listing the class name, total number of attendees, and other pertinent information after your class. This invoice will subsequently be used for payment to you.
Readings
-As with the workshops, you will be paid 70% of any amount collected by Gentle Wind for a reading. Most of our readings are $40-$45 for a 30 minute reading; if you require more, you will be asked to discuss this with Gentle Wind Management. We have a release form that we ask you and your client to sign. Please turn these in at the end of your day- we use them to determine your payment.
-Tape recorders are not available for customers wanted their reading taped, so you may wish to bring your own. Blank tapes are available at the front counter for $1 plus tax. We encourage you to use a timer (available at the front counter) to keep sessions on schedule.
-Most readings are done at the table in front of the store by the waterfall fountain. If privacy is needed, there may be a room available – please check with the staff.
Product Sales
-For any merchandise that you sell, 20% of this must be paid to Gentle Wind.
